In 2006, Chris Young won the NASHVILLE STAR TV competition.
It was shortly thereafter that Chris made his first trip to South Texas to meet with Jo-Jo & The Patchman. I remember going to Texas Roadhouse in Pharr to have dinner with him. It was a fun night and learned he was a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan. It was at that moment that he became a part of my inner circle.
Chris has become a huge fan favorite in the Rio Grande Valley. He's had tremendous success in concert performing at the Livestock Show Grounds, the State Farm Arena, and on the campus of U.T.P.A. His hits are becoming too numerous to mention. I love watching him perform because after every hit, there's another hit song.
Most recently, Chris visited the R.G.V. and brought his LOSING SLEEP Tour back in April of 2018. He promised to bring us more music and remains true to his roots.
