A couple of years ago, I had the opportunity to go to China Town in San Francisco. I walked in and thought - WOW! this is more authentic than I've ever known. I couldn't read the menu to save my life!! It was then that I knew I was getting something REAL!...
It's kinda like when people from up north think that Taco Bell is the shizzle ...then, they come down here and experience Tex-Mex...getting warmer.....then, you go in to Mexico and realize that their beans are black...and not pinto! Crazy world...
I'm sure you've seen the tv show with Chef Gordon Ramsey, KITCHEN NIGHTMARES. It is one of my favorites. Actually, anything with Ramsey, I watch. I was looking at some old videos of KN and ran across this one...it shows some of the worst food that ever appeared on that show. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did....btw - you'll get a kick out of the line where he says..."Skim cheese in a fried ravioli...." they took fat free cheese and dipped it in fat - - LOL!!!
