Creativity in the age of Coronavirus poses a new challenge for a lot of artists.
In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Kenny Chesney reveals his most difficult test when overcoming the coronavirus lockdowns and how he is making summer plans to stay sharp.
"It will be around water somewhere. You know?" laughs Kenny. "I am not really sure. I don't know what it will mean musically for me. I think we are still trying to figure that out."
"It will be creative at some point," reveals the country superstar. "It will be on a boat a little bit somewhere. I'll probably go to some baseball games and just try to be as creative and keep my brain moving as much as I can."
"I think that's one thing, especially when you are creative and you make music for a living, to be this still," says Kenny. "It's something for me especially, and I think for a lot of my friends, I think one of the challenges is to keep things sharp and still be creative, and that's been a challenge when you are forced to be still."
Kenny Chesney fans have marked the calendar for March 12th as they await the music video release for his latest single, "Knowing You."
Kenny told Cody, "Before I started on this journey, I had my heroes and the kind of songs that I loved that really drew me into this format and when I heard, "Knowing You," it just reminded me of a lot of those songs that made me want to chase these dreams in the first place. I think we all have these people who come in and out of our lives and make their mark on our soul and on our lives. I have had several of those people in my life. When I heard "Knowing You," I was like, "Wow! This is so simple and so powerful, and it just felt like I haven't had one of these songs in a while, and it really made me excited about releasing it."
