Chris Stapleton had to reschedule the opening night of his “All-American Road Show” because “critical pieces of our tour production were damaged beyond repair,” he said in a statement.

Stapleton was set to take the stage on Wednesday (June 4) at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. The “Tennessee Whiskey” superstar said his equipment was damaged while en route to the venue, and “unfortunately, without that equipment, we are unable to put on the show.

“The Greenville show is rescheduled for Wednesday, July 9,” Stapleton continued in his announcement on Sunday (June 1). “All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. For those unable to attend the rescheduled date, please contact your point of purchase. Refund requests through Ticketmaster must be submitted by Tuesday, June 24. …Greenville, we appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We look forward to seeing you on July 9.”

Stapleton’s “All-American Road Show” will now kick off at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia, where the country star will play two back-to-back nights starting on Friday (June 6).
