Reba McEntire Shares Must-See Trailer For Her Movie With Melissa Peterman

Reba McEntire shared a new trailer for her upcoming TV movie that’s set to release in 2023. The iconic country music artist stars in “a made up story about a real life judge,” and fans of her 2000s sitcom will recognize her beloved co-star, Melissa Peterman, in its cast.

The Hammer is set to premiere next year, starring McEntire as Kim Wheeler, “an attorney who is appointed as a judge for Nevada's 5th district after the former judge's death. As the investigation into the death intensifies, Kim's sister, who runs the local brothel, becomes the prime suspect,” its description reads on IMDb. The cast also includes Peterman, McEntire’s partner Rex Linn and others. The film is set to premiere in 2023 on Lifetime, McEntire shared when she posted the trailer on her social media channels on Thursday (August 11). Watch it here:

McEntire, who recently shared a hilarious moment with Peterman on Instagram, is also getting ready to hit the road on an arena tour stopping in 17 cities this fall. McEntire is bringing Terri Clark along on the tour, which is set to kick off in October in Lafayette, Louisiana. She shared a throwback photo from the last time the two country a artists toured with one another, dating back to 2005. McEntire appropriately captioned the throwback: “This ain’t our first rodeo!
