Luke Combs To Make His 'Saturday Night Live' Debut

Luke Combs is set to make his debut on Saturday Night Live. The country star will perform on the comedy television show on February 1. Combs will be the musical guest on an episode hosted by Houston Texans player JJ Watt.

This SNL appearance is yet another milestone moment for the country singer who's been on the rise since the release of his debut album, This One's For You, in 2017. More recently, in 2019, he released his sophomore record, What You See Is What You Get. His current single, "Even Though I'm Leaving" marks the country star's seventh consecutive chart-topping single.

In 2019, Combs also took home the CMA Award for Male Vocalist of the Year and ACM Award for New Male Vocalist of the Year. Additionally, he was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2019 and traveled the country for his massive "Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour."

Combs' 2019 was one to remember and his 2020 is already off to a great start. He is up for Best Duo/ Group Performance for his version of "Brand New Man" with Brooks & Dunn at the 2020 Grammys. He also plans to hit the road this year for his "What You See Is What You Get Tour."

The tour will launch a week after his SNL debut on February 7 in Columbia, MO. He'll make stops in cities including Houston, Lexington, Grand Rapids and more before concluding the run in April.

Combs will be joined by supporting acts including the 2019 CMA New Artist of the Year recipient Ashley McBryde and Drew Parker. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.

Saturday Night Live airs on NBC at 11:35PM ET. Be sure to tune in and watch Combs on February 1.
