Ashley McBryde Nominated For 2019 Daytime Emmy Award

Country music rising star, Ashley McBryde is making waves again, but this time it’s not on the radio. Instead, its television! Ashley has been nominated for her first Daytime Emmy Award.

The “Girl Goin Nowhere” singer, recently tweeted “Holy crap! What is life right now!?! Thank you so much @DaytimeEmmys, @CBSThisMorning Saturday, @AnthonyMasonCBS” after discovering that she had been nominated for a 2019 Day Emmy Award for her performance on ‘CBS This Morning Saturday.’

Ashley is nominated for the “Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program” category alongside Isreal & Adrienne Houghton, Lindsey Stirling, the cast of Broadway’s The Band, and Ben Rector. Ashley’s CBS This Morning Saturday appearance took place in late December where she performed three songs: "Girl Goin' Nowhere," "El Dorado" and "American Scandal." All three tracks come from her Grammy-nominated debut album, 'Girl Going Nowhere.’

The 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards will take place on May 5th at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. A complete list of nominees can be seen HERE.
